Two men are in hospital after two separate and unrelated overnight stabbings in Montreal.
Around 1:25 a.m. this morning, there was an altercation between a man and a woman in an apartment building on St Julien near Castille in Montreal North.
The man, 29, suffered injuries to his upper body and was taken to hospital. However, the police say that his life is not in danger.
Meanwhile, the woman, 38, was taken into police custody and transported to a detention centre where she was questioned by the police.
The relationship between the two and reason for the incident remains unclear.
