Winning $60 Million Lotto Max ticket sold in Toronto

The winning ticket for the Lotto Max draw worth $60 million was sold right here in Toronto.

There were also three MaxMillions prizes that were won across Ontario.

$1,000,000 – Milton area
$1,000,000 – Owen Sound area
$500,000 – Windsor (shared with another winning ticket)
There were three second prize-winning tickets, worth $159,177.80, sold in Brampton, the Burlington area and Toronto.

Also, there were three ENCORE tickets, worth $100,000 each, sold in Brampton, Milton and Orangeville.

Since its launch in September 2009, Ontario LOTTO MAX players have won over $2.9 billion, including 45 jackpot wins and 311 MAXMILLIONS prizes, right across the province.

For each $5 play, LOTTO MAX players receive three sets of seven numbers ranging from one to forty-nine. Players must match all seven numbers, in any one set, to win the jackpot and the MAXMILLIONS prizes.

The next LOTTO MAX jackpot is estimated at $32 million. Players can purchase tickets at authorized OLG retailers or buy online at PlayOLG.ca until 10:30 p.m. Friday, March 25, 2016 for the draw that evening.
