Actor Johnny Depp on Amber Heard: My fiancee is not pregnant

In case you haven’t heard, Johnny Depp is busy planning a wedding. Could he be planning for a baby, too?

According to a new report, the 50-year-old Transcendence star and his new fiancée, model Amber Heard, are expecting! The pair officially confirmed their engagement just last week, and while Johnny was quick to insist the wedding isn’t a “shotgun affair,” a friend of the bride-to-be has revealed that she is definitely pregnant.

However, when Johnny was quizzed over the baby rumours during an interview on America’s Today show, JD flatly denied the gossip.

Asked by the show’s host Savannah Guthrie whether there was any truth in the pregnancy reports he replied: “A child? Good god, what do you think I am, a savage? ‘No, no truth to that. [It’s] not a shotgun affair.”

The news comes after Johnny was spotted wearing an impressive diamond sparkler on his ring finger following his proposal to his The Rum Diary co-star.

The 50-year-old explained his decision to wear an engagement (or should that be mengagement?) ring when he appeared on The Late Show With David Letterman.

He told the host: ”I have a female engagement ring… Yes – it was too big for my girl. She is wearing the other one.

“I think people are too scared to comment, ‘Why is a grown man wearing a woman’s engagement ring?”’

We’re not sure about you, but we’re all for the mengagement ring and hope more Hollywood heart-throbs follow suit.
