Adele Tweets Apology After Stage Rigging Hits Glasgow Concertgoer.
AN Adele fan has been rushed to hospital after a piece of production rigging fell into the crowd during a concert.
The Hello singer was performing a sold-out show at Glasgow’s SSE Hydro when paramedics rushed the fan to hospital.
A spokesperson of the venue explained in a statement that the chain was part of the production. “[The chain] came down and hit one person who was taken to hospital as a precaution. We are liaising with the production crew to ascertain what happened. This is all we know at this stage,” they said.
According to Heart Scotland News, the injured fan was a woman and she was escorted out of the venue while covered in blood. The site also shared on Twitter some pictures of the chain in question.

Adele was apparently unaware of the incident, so she continued her show. But when she found out about it later, she immediately issued an apology via Twitter. “I’m so sorry to hear that someone got hurt at my show tonight. It’s being investigated to ensure it won’t happen again,” so she wrote.

Adele’s currently in the middle of her European tour. The Friday show was the first of her two-night stand at SSE Hydro. She’s scheduled to return to the Glasgow arena on Saturday, March 26.
