Ama Performance 2015: Jennifer Lopez Delivers Dazzling Dance Medley (Video)

Host Jennifer Lopez owned the American Music Awards stage on Sunday, singing and dancing to a medley of some of the year’s hottest songs.

After teasing a slowed-down version of her Nineties hit “Waiting for Tonight,” the former fly girl halted the song to announce that “tonight is about the music.” Over the course of the medley, Lopez danced to many of the year’s upbeat hits — Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars’ “Uptown Funk,” Nicki Minaj’s “Anaconda,” Beyonce’s “7/11,” the Weekend’s “Can’t Feel My Face” and more — as well as Ed Sheeran’s loving ballad “Thinking Out Loud.”

At last year’s American Music Awards, Lopez was joined by Iggy Azalea for a raunchy performance of “Booty (Remix).” The song appeared on her 2014 album A.K.A., which also featured guest spots from French Montana, Rick Ross, T.I. and last year’s AMA host Pitbull, who performed on the original version of “Booty.”

Earlier this year, the singer and actress reprised the role that made her a star while paying tribute to the late Tejano star Selena Quintanilla-Perez during the Billboard Latin Music Awards. Lopez performed a medley of Selena’s hits, including “Bidi Bidi Bom Bom,” “I Could Fall in Love” and “Amor Prohibido.”
