Bobbi Kristina Abused? A court-appointed representative of Bobbi Kristina Brown has filed a lawsuit against her partner, Nick Gordon, claiming he took money from her and abused her physically and emotionally.
The suit was filed by Bedelia Hargrove on behalf of Bobbi Kristina Brown, who has been moved to hospice care as her condition continues to deteriorate.
Hargrove is in charge of Bobbi Kristina’s $20 million estate.
The lawsuit, filed Wednesday afternoon in Fulton County State Court, alleges tortuous conduct causing substantial bodily harm committed by Gordon.
The suit says Gordon allegedly punched Brown in the face, knocking out a front tooth. He is also accused of dragging Brown by her hair up a flight of stairs.
A friend also says Brown admitted that Gordon “wasn’t the man she thought he was” and set up a meeting with the friend to discuss the issue further.
Brown did not make that meeting as she was found later that day unresponsive and unconscious, face down in a bathtub.
Her mouth was swollen and another tooth had been knocked out.
Medical personnel were able to revive Brown and she was placed in a medically-induced coma. She has been diagnosed with global and irreversible brain damage and is now in hospice care.
The suit also accuses Gordon of stealing over $11,000 from Brown’s bank account.
The lawsuit seeks damages of at least $10 million.
Bedelia Hargrove released this statement regarding the civil suit:
Today I filed a lawsuit on behalf of Bobbi Kristina Brown. I filed this lawsuit to pursue justice on behalf of Bobbi Kristina Brown. No human being, male or female, should endure what Bobbi Kristina endured.
Pat Houston and Bobby Brown have done all they can to take care of Bobbi Kristina since this terrible tragedy occurred. I have worked closely with both of them and we all want the very best for Bobbi Kristina. This lawsuit represents our collective efforts to get justice for Bobbi Kristina.
We pray that justice will be done for her and that it will be swift.
