Jason Aldean brought his new girlfriend Brittany Kerr to walk the red carpet with him before the 2014 CMT Music Awards on Wednesday night (June 4). It is their first public appearance together, and he’s apparently moving on with his life, as they say.
Aldean and Kerr posed for pictures in front of the media, and joked with stars like James Van Der Beek before making their way into the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville. During the show they were seen getting cozy, laughing when actor Tom Arnold appeared as the hologram Jason Aldean.
Aldean and his wife Jessica filed for divorce in April 2013, and he confirmed he and the one-time Charlotte Bobcats dancer were dating in March 2014. Kerr and Aldean were photographed kissing in September 2012. The singer apologized to his fans and indicated it was a one-time indiscretion. In the past few months the two have been spotted together several times, but Wednesday night’s appearance was their first public outing.
