Country songstress Carrie Underwood Returning to Winnipeg in the Fall

A day after Garth Brooks left two, two more country music stars were announced as being on their way to Winnipeg.

Underwood, a seven-time Grammy winner and ACM Female Vocalist of the Year nominee, announced the dates of her “Storyteller Tour-Stories in the Round” on Monday.

Tickets for her show range from $67.50 to $109.50 and go on sale to the general public on Friday, although presales start on Tuesday.

The tour is in promotion of Carrie’s new album, “Storyteller,” which was heralded by Rolling Stone as “the most anticipated country album of the year.” The album was produced by Jay Joyce, Mark Bright and Zach Crowell with six of its 13 songs co-written by Carrie, including the No. 1 hits “Smoke Break” and “Heartbeat.”
