’19 Kids And Counting’ Star Jessa Duggar Responds To Sex Scandal Rumors With Biblical Text, Reports Say She Consummated Marriage In Back Room Of Church.
Jessa has broken her silence days after an alleged wedding guest named Mary B. claimed on the blog My Life as a Stay at Home Wife and Mom that Jessa’s younger sister Jinger caught the 19 Kids and Counting stars doing it when she went to retrieve them for the reception. Jessa responded on Instagram in the best and classiest way possible.
Instead of defending herself and going into rage mode — and she had every right to do so — Jessa took the high road by simply posting this passage from the Bible:
Jessa captioned her photo with a line taken from the passage: “Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.”
You don’t need to be a follower of any particular faith to see how fantastic a response this is from a young, but obviously wise, woman. She is choosing to turn the other cheek and let the rumors fall where they may — she doesn’t feel it necessary to even address such nonsense other than to say that she plans on continuing to spread positive energy and not get caught up in negativity.
