Joey Feek: Country singer shares her last days on earth

Country singer Joey Feek has left hospital and started hospice care at home so she can as much time as possible with her one-year-old daughter.

In a touching new post on the family’s Facebook page, the 40-year-old musician and mom beams ear-to-ear with her daughter, Indiana, and her sister as the trio wears matching floppy hats.

“The mail lady delivered big smiles to us today…. hand-sewn hats, made with love,” her husband Rory wrote in the caption of the pic.

Joey, one half of the country duo Joe + Rory with her husband, is in hospice care at her home in Alexandria, Indiana, with late-stage cervical cancer.

She was diagnosed with the disease in May 2014 and underwent an aggressive treatment plan that included a hysterectomy, surgery and chemotherapy.
