Katie Holmes risked a major wardrobe malfunction in a denim mini-dress Tuesday in New York.
Katie Holmes showed off her toned body in a super-short, strapless acid-washed dress, complete with a full-length zipper in the front. The dress was so short that Holmes had difficulty keeping it in place.
According to ET, cameras spotted Holmes inside a Walmart for the particular scene where she was seen drinking out of an orange juice container and wearing a fake belly. She was also acting alongside her on-screen daughter, played by 17-year-old Stefania Owen.
All We Had tells the story of an impoverished mid-Western mother, played by Holmes, that struggles to take care of her 13-year-old daughter after they were kicked out of their home in California. The film is based off of the acclaimed novel by sculptor and painter Annie Weatherwax.
Holmes not only stars in the film, but is directing the film as well. This marks her directorial debut and a source revealed that she is “handling her responsibilities well” and “spending time with the cast and crew.”
