Most celebrities would have opted for an excuse to dress sexy. Most celebrities did. But not Katy Perry.
On Thursday night, the wacky pop star turned up for Kate Hudson Halloween bash dressed up as a giant Cheeto, looking barely recognisable.
After her costume started trending on Twitter, Katy tweeted, “*WIPES CHEETO DUST OFF SHOULDERS*,” retweeting the trend. Then, the official Chester Cheetah Instagram got in on the fun, tweeting, “@katyperry If you think you can make me fall in love by dressing as a Flamin’ Hot Cheeto, you’re 100% correct.” To which Katy replied, “Lay me down on ur flames.” Spicy.
According to Marie Claire (via Us Weekly), Katy actually has a thing for Flaming Hot Cheetos – she devoured them after her divorce from her ex-husband Russell Brand.
“There were two weeks of my life after I found out the truth of my marriage, where I was like ‘Okay, all right. I can’t feel this,'” she told the mag in January 2014. “I was, like, just eating Flamin’ Hot Cheetos and drinking, and that’s it.”
