Olivia Culpo nearly fainted at the 2015 Primetime Emmy Awards on Sunday.
Olivia Culpo nearly crumpled to the ground during an Emmy Awards red carpet pre-show while she chatted with E! hosts Giuliana Rancic, Ross Mathews and Brad Goreski, E! News reports. The Miss USA 2012 was reportedly seen kneeling on the ground at the end segment, while all the three hosts rushed to her side to help her out. After the short commercial break, Rancic reassured all the viewers that Culpo was fine and that the star almost passed out because of the heat.
“I just want everyone to know that Olivia Culpo is fine. She got a little over-heated at the end there, it’s very hot out here,” Rancic said. The temperature on Sunday afternoon reportedly reached almost 100 degrees at the Microsoft Theater.
Nick Jonas’ former girlfriend also took to Twitter to reassure her fans that she was okay. She wrote, “OMG it is SO HOT out here. Literally just almost passed out.” Culpo also expressed her gratitude and appreciation to the three E! hosts with a Twitter message that read, “When u almost pass out on LIVE TV! @GiulianaRancic @helloross @mrbradgoreski its ok I know u would have caught me.”
According to the New York Daily News, Culpo was treated by the medics at the scene during the 67th Primetime Emmy Awards. The star was also photographed seated on a wheelchair with an officer behind her.
According to E!, the 23-year-old beauty queen also took to Instagram, where she shared a picture of herself as she posed on the red carpet. Culpo jokingly captioned the image, “My #Emmys look pre-onAir pass out!!!!”
