The Hershey Company announced the launch of a Reese’s peanut butter cup flavored spread on Wednesday.
Reese’s new peanut butter chocolate spread is “like butter but better,” according to the company’s website. And the Huffington Post says Nutella will soon be on the back burner as the new Reese’s spread gains popularity. Reese’s is already a household name, making enough peanut butter cups in just a year to feed one cup to every person in the USA, Japan, Europe, Australia, China, Africa and India combined, according to their site.
The company even has their own holiday on May 18, which is reportedly recognized as I Love Reese’s Day. November is apparently peanut butter lovers month, perhaps why the company chose to release their new product this past week.
