Wife drops 100 pounds to surprise Army hubby (Video)

When Army specialist Larry Shaffer was deployed to Afghanistan in 2012, his wife, Misty, at 260 pounds, wore a size 22. When he returned a year later, she fit into a size 6.

Misty lost more than 100 pounds while her husband was away, CNN reported.

Amazing isn’t it?

Needless to say, he was shocked, surprised and limited to the word ‘wow.’

Misty had struggled with her weight all her life, and though her husband never complained about it, Misty said she decided to lose weight because she wanted to surprise her husband and to have a better life.

So when Larry, an Army specialist, was deployed to Afghanistan for a year she decided this was the perfect time to get in shape.
“I just sat in bed one night and was like, ‘I can do this,’” she told CNN. “‘I need to do this.’”

And she did.
