A 29-year-old man is facing five charges after three teenagers were shot in Pelican Narrows, Sask., early Saturday morning.
RCMP say they were first alerted to a disturbance at around 4:30 a.m. CST, when a group of approximately 20 people were smashing windows at a home in the northern village.
When officers arrived they found three teenagers suffering from gunshot wounds. A 15-year-old girl and 14-year-old boy from Flin Flon, Man. and a 19-year-old man from Pelican Narrows were taken to hospital. They have since been released.
Soon after, Travis Alphonse Sewap, 29, was arrested and rifle was found nearby.
RCMP said their investigations show Sewap allegedly left the home on Jan Street with the rifle and began to fire randomly at a group of people. Alcohol is considered a factor.
