“Storage Wars” auctioneer Dan Dotson was immediately rushed to the hospital in Palm Springs, CA Monday afternoon after suffering a double brain aneurysm.
Dotson’s wife and “Storage Wars” co-star Laura Dotson told TMZ her husband first showed symptoms around 1 a.m. Monday when he began “asking weird questions in his sleep.” Later that morning, Dotson said he was not feeling well, experiencing double vision, and collapsed after taking a shower.
Laura told TMZ her husband suffered two aneurysms: one behind his eye and another in his neck “the size of an apricot.” He had surgery Tuesday afternoon, and she said it was successful, although she added he has a long road to recovery ahead of him.
Laura took to Twitter on Thursday night, thanking people for well-wishes and writing her husband “made it through a difficult surgery.”
“Now on the road to recovery!” she wrote.
