Casey Anthony : Her life today

Casey Anthony was acquitted three years ago of first degree murder in the death of her 2-year-old daughter, Caylee.

The mother maintains she didn’t kill her child.

Anthony’s defense attorney, Cheney Mason spoke on CNN regarding how she’s doing now.

Casey Anthony honestly is one of the most hated women of all time. Most people that that she was guilty of murdering her daughter Caylee but there was just not enough evidence to convinct her of the crime.

Florida lawyer Cheney Mason explained a bit about her life now. Casey does still live in Florida but doesn’t want anyone to know what town she lives in or where she is located. She barely leaves her home and everyone treats her like they hate her so that is the reason. Casey is living in her own kind of prison now.

This lawyer spoke out saying, “Casey is aloof. She is kind of, I think, afraid of people … she’s not real close to. We’ve had a couple of occasions to have social gatherings that can include her — close friends, the (legal) team. She still likes to back away from the middle.”

Casey Anthony still refuses to speak out but her lawyers think that she wants to at some point. She has nothing to do with her family anymore and life doesn’t sound like it is very good for her. It will probably never get better either.

    1. I’m a mother too so I can understand Cindy’s denial that Casey killed Kaylee. But Cindy, I wish you could see how you have been the enabler for Casey to act the way she does (and probably still does). When I listened to the disrespectful way she talked to you on the phone while you were trying to visit her in jail…and then you acted worried as if you thought you did something wrong, kissing her feet in your response to her rudeness. Also, I’m sure in the beginning it didn’t occur to you that your daughter would put her baby in harms way, but she did and then she lied and hid that fact for 31 days.

I noticed, even though you were unhappy with the way Casey was acting, lying and taking cops on a wild goose chases, and when the pictures of her partying while no one knew where Kaylee was and Casey said she was going to the bars looking for the babysitter. I think as soon as you saw all that you realized your daughter was probably lying and in trouble because of it. Now you try to protect her and start defending her as you probably did her whole life, thinking you were helping and protecting her, when, really you were enabling her to get by with all this outrageous behavior…unfortunately now your are all paying the price of that…Kaylee paid with her life…and once again Casey is off the hook. I’m so sorry for you all, especially Kaylee. Good luck.

      • What part of justice do you not understand, she was acquitted of killing her child. You don’t have a clue about the evidence and obviously you believe what you read in tabloid reporting like above. How she acted or her personality has nothing, absolutely nothing with being guilty. She was ACQUITTED by people who actually heard the evidence. Your the last person I would have on a jury and the reason we have the jury system of 12 and can challenge a person being seated is to keep prejudiced, emotional and narrow minded people off juries.

    2. Well said Joy White!!!

    3. This sounds like an attempt to test the public outrage by Cheney Mason. Casey Anthony belongs in prison for murdering her baby and not out freeloading on the generosity of others. I do not feel sorry for Casey Anthony and in fact hope that the rest of her life is filled with fear just as her child must have feared when her mother killed her.
