10 players were ejected from Saturday night’s Triple-A baseball game between the Reno Aces and Albuquerque Isotopes after the teams got in a brawl that took place right in front of onlookers behind home plate.
The first bench-clearing incident happened after Isotopes infielder Erisbel Arruebarrena was thrown at by Aces pitcher Mike Bolsinger.
The Isotopes infielder shoved Aces catcher Blake Lalli and threw his helmet at an Ace member who charged at him, according to ESPN.
Arruebarrena was then attacked by Aces’ players and both teams started to leave the benches.
Players pushed one another into the netting behind home plate and made it into the first row of the crowd.
The Aces later won the game 7-3, after Bolsinger gave up two runs on nine hits in 5⅔ innings.
Out of 10 minor leaguers ejected, four players are from the Isotopes.
The PCL already requested a video of the game to assess the situation and file rightful sanctions.
