Second security incident at White House in 2 days (Video)

The second security incident at the White House in two days happened on Saturday when an individual failed to stop at the entrance to the presidential complex while driving his vehicle, then was arrested, the Secret Service said.

Officials have not released the man’s identity, who was charged with unlawful entry. Streets near the executive mansion were temporarily closed as officers responded, but the White House was not locked down.

President Obama, his wife and daughters were at Camp David in Maryland, the presidential retreat where they will spend the weekend.

The incident, however, heightened concerns about the president’s security as the Secret Service prepares to investigate Friday’s security breach.

Just minutes after Obama departed by helicopter Friday evening, a 42-year-old man jumped the White House fence and made it through the door before being apprehended.

The breach sparked a rare White House evacuation, causing agents to draw weapons on the suspect, Omar Gonzalez of Copperas Cove, Texas.
