Beverly Carter : Missing realtor prompts search in Arkansas

Family, friends and volunteers continued their search Sunday for Realtor Beverly Carter, who has been missing since Thursday.

Pulaski County sheriff’s office spokesman Lt. Carl Minden said search efforts started up again about 9 a.m. Sunday.

Authorities said Friday that 49-year-old Beverly Carter of Scott was reported missing by her husband about 11 p.m. Thursday.

Deputies say Carter’s husband told authorities he last heard from his wife about 5:30 p.m. when she was to meet someone at the home. He said he went to the home to search for Carter after she failed to contact him.

Deputies say the woman’s purse was found in her vehicle outside the home and that the door to the residence was open.
