The National Weather Service has reported an earthquake occurred about 15 miles southwest of Las Vegas.
It happened around 3:10 a.m. on Sunday near Sloan, just off the I-15.
NWS said it was a 3.6 magnitude earthquake.
Las Vegas Fire and Rescue reported no emergency calls related to the quake to the Fire Alarm Office, which covers Las Vegas, North Las Vegas fire and Clark County.
Despite it being moderately sized, the quake was reportedly felt as far as the Summerlin area of the Valley, according to USGS.
Shortly after the quake, many local residents took to social media to give their take on what they felt.
“Just felt my house shake near the palms casino,” FOX5 Twitter follower Brandon Arthur said.
“Earthquake in Spring Valley!” another Twitter follower Kateri Rose declared. “That woke my husband and I up!”
There was no immediate word of significant damage as a result of the quake.
