Sarah Goldberg, who played Sarah Glass Camden on “7th Heaven,” died in her sleep Sept. 27 in Wisconsin. Her family suspected a heart attack, according to the Chicago Sun-Times. She was 40.
The Chicago native appeared in the films “Jurassic Park III” and “Training Day” and had several television parts, including appearances on “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation,” “Judging Amy,” “Without a Trace,” “House M.D.” and more recently, “90210.”
She graduated from Amherst College in 1996 with a major in microbiology before moving to Los Angeles to pursue acting.
“She would walk down the street here, or places in Wisconsin, and people would come up to her and say, ‘You played the daughter’ of the rabbi,” Goldberg’s mother told the Sun-Times about “7th Heaven.” “She wanted to go to medical school, and instead for three years she played a doctor on ‘7th Heaven.'”
