The B.C. Coroners Service is investigating the death of a man at the Oppenheimer Park “tent city” in East Vancouver.
A number of tents are isolated from the rest of the camp to allow investigators to do their work.
Vancouver Police say there are no signs of trauma or violence and that the death is not believed to be suspicious.
The victim is a 69-year-old man but he has not been identified.
Last week, a judge ruled campers in the park must pack up and leave by 10 o’clock tonight.
The City of Vancouver had tried to get people out of the park sooner, citing safety concerns.
