Ricki Lake files for divorce after two years of Marriage

Ricki Lake has filed for divorce from her estranged hubby Christian Evans after only two and a half years of marriage.

According to court documents filed in Los Angeles, Lake separated from Evans, 42, on Oct. 9 and filed for divorce the following week. She’s reportedly expected to pay him spousal support.

Lake and Evans began dating in 2010, got engaged in August of the following year and eloped in April 2012.

“It’s official, and I am so happy!” she gushed on Twitter at the time.

This was the second marriage for Lake. She has two sons from her first marriage to Rob Sussman. They split in 2003.
