Cracker Barrel Waitress is Overwhelmed When Couple Goes Extra Mile on Generous Tip She Won’t Forget
[fwdevp preset_id=”8″ video_path=”Yb-4odo1_gM”]Gary Tackett and his wife Roxann, who are from Arkansas, would usually stop at the Cracker Barrel in Branson, Missouri, during their frequent visits.
According to OzarksFirst.com, the couple noticed waitress Cindi Brady’s badly-damaged car sitting in the parking lot on several occasions. The car was in such bad shape, the couple actually thought it was abandoned.
Apparently, Brady had a few run ins with local deer. Five of them, actually. And although the car still ran, it certainly was not pretty.
The Tacketts started asking around about the car and discovered it belonged to Brady. The Tacketts told ABC News that the restaurant said Brady was a hard worker who was just trying to make a living for herself and her disabled son. So, although they had only met the waitress in passing, they decided “something has to be done.”
They found the Ford Fusion in November and bought it for $2,500. On their next trip to Missouri, they stopped at Cracker Barrel and presented the car to the hard-working waitress.
Brady says, “It restored my faith in humanity” and the car is the best Christmas present she has ever received.
