Singer Jeremih Airport Arrest : Singer Reportedly Arrested After Attempting To Board A Plane Late

Singer Jeremih Airport Arrest – Report : A popular R&B singer was arrested Friday at Newark Airport after authorities say he attempted to illegally board a plane despite having missed the boarding call.

Singer Jeremih, whose given name is Jeremy Felton, and a fellow musician named Adam Woods missed their boarding call for their US Airways flight to Phoenix. Usually, this is when a passenger would request they be put on the next flight, but the two men thought they’d be able to sneak onto the plane with the help of their entourage, who were already onboard.

Authorities say the singer Jeremih reached out to his bouncer, Dontate Cunningham, 26, who opened the plane’s rear door — which was already closed for takeoff — to let him and Woods in. When the crew realized what was going on, Port Authority police were called and took all three men into custody.

Singer Jeremih and Woods were charged with obstruction of the administration of law and disorderly conduct, both misdemeanors. Cunningham was charged with defiant trespass. The three remained in custody on Friday evening, ironically missing the appearance in Fresno, California to perform with Wiz Khalifa, T-Pain and Baby Bash they were rushing to.
