Neptune, a Canadian consumer electronics innovator, today unveiled Neptune Duo, The device’s core components are housed inside a wrist-worn band with a 2.4-inch display, with the main unit in reserve for times when a larger screen is necessary.
The duo relies on the bracelet unit for the majority of its functionality, with a quad-core processor, speaker, microphone, 3G, 4G, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS and NFC connectivity built into the wearable Neptune Hub.
Dubbed the Neptune Pocket, the handset portion features a 5-inch, 720p display to deliver a full Android experience, and 8-megapixel cameras on the front and rear.
The Neptune Duo is not due to ship until the end of 2015, but customers can reserve one from today (February 17).
Neptune launched a similar product last year when it released the Neptune Pine, a smartphone crammed inside a watch.
