Kate’s visit marks her involvement in the charity as she inspects the charity mug which she helped design, with all proceeds will help terminally ill children and their families.
According to royal sources, it was Kate’s idea to get Emma Bridgewater to design the range of mugs after she saw and liked previous charity collections created by the potter.
A royal source told the Mail Online: “It was the Duchess’s idea to approach Emma, whom she didn’t know previously, and she helped in the design process.
“The resulting mugs feature a delicate ladybird and spring flower design.”
The Duchess was a vision of beauty in a blue wool coat worn over a Seraphine dress and teamed with a pair of Jimmy Choo court shoes.
She wore her famous brunette tresses in glossy waves and opted for her signature natural make-up look.
