Abigail Bergman, a 14-year-old star on the TV show The Next Step, and Polinah Ouskova, 15, were spotted at Union Station on Tuesday evening.
Bergman was wearing an Adidas zip-up tracksuit style jacket and dark slim pants and Ouskova was wearing a black Bench jacket and dark pants.
Bergman, is an actress who plays a recurring character on “The Next Step”, a show about a group of dancers preparing for a regional competition. Her character, Abi, has been featured in season two and three of the show.
The show airs on The Family Channel, whose Twitter account has been tweeting information from Halton Police in hopes fans may recognize the actress.
“We are concerned for both girls’ safety and we are monitoring the situation closely,” said Jaime Bassett, director of communications for DHX Television, which owns the Canadian family network. “But at this point, all we are hoping for is that they come home to their friends and family very soon.”
Det. Sgt. Andy Ford told Metroland this isn’t the first time Bergman and Ouskova have gone missing in the past few months, but in previous instances they were returned home shortly.
