Four to split Lotto Max jackpot

The Lotto Max jackpot drought is over.

There are four winning tickets for last night’s $50 million grand prize – each of them worth $12.5 million.

There were also 50 Maxmillions prizes of a million dollars each up for grabs and 22 of them were claimed by a total of 27 winnings tickets.

Included in the 10 winning tickets from Ontario was one sold in the Hamilton area, along with one in Oakville, two in Mississauga and three in Toronto.

Meantime, a couple of Hamilton residents have come forward to claim prizes from the previous week’s Lotto Max draw.

Max Methot won a $500,000 Maxmillions prize and Marcie Richardson of Hamilton won a quarter of a milllion in last week’s draw.
