A man in his 20s was taken to hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries after a stabbing in Brampton early Sunday morning.
Police were called to the scene on Shady Pine Circle, in the Sandalwood Parkway East and Bramalea Road area, shortly after 6 a.m. after family members reported that two brothers were fighting.
Paramedics said the victim was stabbed multiple times in the torso.
He was rushed to a trauma centre in Toronto with serious but not life-threatening injuries.
Police said one suspect was arrested on scene.

There has been no word on charges or if additional arrests will be made.
Authorities are advising the public that there is no need for concern and that this was not a random attack.
