Nicolle Wallace will not be returning to “The View” next season as a daily co-host.
A Variety report says that Nicolle Wallace wasn’t offered a new co-host contract by ABC because she didn’t offer “enough dissent about political issues and continually voicing her lack of knowledge about celebrities.”
Nicolle Wallace was hired as a host for the show in September to be the conservative voice at the table. ABC offered her a contributor position going forward, but she has not decided if she’ll take it or leave the show all together.
Nicolle Wallace is just the latest co-host to leave “The View.” Rosie Perez is also out, leaving Whoopi Goldberg, Raven-Symone and Michelle Collins at the table for Season 19, which premieres in mid-September.
According to Variety, ABC is looking for two more names to fill out the show in hopes of resuscitating “The View’s” slipping ratings. “Good Morning America Weekend” anchor Paula Faris and “Fuller House” star Candace-Cameron Bure are reportedly in talks to take over those two spots. Molly Sims, Sherri Shepherd, Stacy London and Wallace — if she agrees to take to contributor position — would rotate as guest hosts.

I have watched the View for years…..even struggled watching while Barbara Walters was still there due to her obvious decline. However, Nicole is one of the few (2) with any sense and legitimate comments. The other is Whoopi. You have just sealed the end.
