B.C. Orcas Frolic Off Galiano Island (Video)

Nearly 50 orcas belonging to the J and L pods were captured on video travelling through B.C.’s Active Pass near Galiano Island on Sunday.

Gary Cullen shot the video of near 50 orcas belonging to J and L pods as they travelled through BC’s Active Pass on Sunday afternoon. The video includes a baby that playfully splashes in the water. The playful pods look to be having a fun afternoon together as they breach the water and swim together in unison.

It’s a grand showing of the beautiful whales in the waters off of B.C.’s coast.
