While talking about her marriage to Graham Quinn, the father of their two children, who ended their marriage after just six months, Myleene Klass revealed that she will never get married again.
During a discussion on Loose Women about pre-nuptial agreements, host Kaye Adams asked the 35-year-old if she would ever consider marrying again, and Myleene sharply replied: “Never.”
When Kaye later questioned why she wouldn’t give tying the knot another shot, Myleene revealed it was partly due to wanting to protect herself and her children from someone who wants to take her money.
And she added to the presenter, who has been with her partner for 20 years and has never wed: “Well you’re not married, and you seem very happy.
“I tried it my way, maybe I should try it another way.”
Myleene added that her biggest regret from her marriage to Graham is not getting him to sign a pre-nup.
She said: “I don’t regret much in life, but if I had one regret it would be not getting a pre-nup. You live, you learn, and that was a very, very expensive lesson.”
The star, who began to tear up as she discussed her failed marriage, added: “We have life insurance, we have insurance for a car, insurance for a house, there’s no insurance for a marriage.
“This is somebody else’s actions so even if you agree, talking about it like a contract, and you carry out that contract, if the other person doesn’t, you are left high and dry.”
