Guy Fieri is finally responding to the barrage of insults Anthony Bourdain has sent his way over the past decade.
In previous years, Bourdain has called Fieri a “douche” and described his look as if “Ed Hardy f–ked a juggalo.” In general, he’s been critical of the Food Network, but Fieri in particular.
In an interview with GQ, the Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives host wants to know what Bourdain’s fixation is on him. “He’s definitely gotta have issues, ‘cos the average person doesn’t behave that way,” Fieri said.
“It’s actually disappointing,” he continued. “I don’t like him making fun of people, and I don’t like him talking s–t. And he’s never talked s–t to my face.”
Bourdain, who has previously said Ina Garten was the only Food Network chef “who can cook,” also criticized Fieri for his signature flame shirt, People reports.
“It’s not that I’m not open to the reality that the food world was like this from a few people’s perspectives,” Fieri added. “It’s just, ‘What are you doing? What is your instigation? You have nothing else to f–king worry about than if I have bleached hair or not?’ I mean, f–k.”
