Kate Beckinsale secretly separated from her husband Len Wiseman some time ago, according to reports.
E! News reports that the couple have split after 11 years of marriage, with a source saying that “they have not been together for a few months.”
Questions surrounding the state of their marriage surfaced earlier this week when Wiseman, 42, was photographed without his wedding ring on while out with 24-year-old model CJ Franco in Los Angeles. It is the third time the pair has been seen together in recent weeks.
Meanwhile, Beckinsale, 42, is currently in Prague shooting Underworld 5. She has also been spotted without her wedding ring on recently.
Kate Beckinsale and Len Wiseman looked very much like a couple in love at the 2014 American Music Awards exactly one year ago, but sightings since then have been few and far between.
The British actress, who is the mother of now-16-year-old daughter Lily with ex Michael Sheen, told Glamour UK in July 2012 that she was going “back and forth” on the idea of having a child with Wiseman.
“I feel very lucky in that we [she and Sheen] navigated a pretty bumpy situation and that Lily’s OK,” Beckinsale told the magazine. “So my resistance is along the lines of, ‘Do I want to upset the apple cart?’”
She added: “There’s absolutely part of me that goes, ‘I’d love to have a baby in the relationship I’m in, and have that experience when the relationship’s really good and exclusive,’ but I’m just not sure.”
Kate Beckinsale and Len Wiseman met on the set of the first Underworld. They were both with other people at the time, Beckinsale was with Sheen and Wiseman was married to his first wife, a teacher.
Both relationships ended in 2002 and the pair stepped out as a couple in January 2003. They were engaged by June of the same year and married in 2004.
