It’s always important to make a good first impression. That’s a motto that most groups of individuals choose to live by, and skeleton “sliders” are no exception.
When zipping down an icy track head-first, the first thing we see is the slider’s helmet, and several of the skeleton athletes participating at the 2014 Olympic Games in Sochi have taken that into consideration. As a result, we have been treated to some rather unique helmet designs at this year’s Winter Games.
