Chris Carney, the husband of former Disney star Tiffany Thornton, has died at age 35 in a car crash.
According to TMZ, Chris and his friend, Ezekiel Blayton, got into a single car crash.
They were both pronounced dead on the scene. One of them was reportedly thrown out of the car when it “flew off the road while going around a bend and slammed into a tree.” The cause of the accident and who was behind the wheel are still scarce.
Chris Carney, a singer of the band Prom Kings, married Tiffany Thornton in 2011 with her “Sonny with a Chance” co-star Demi Lovato as one of the bridesmaids. They have two young sons. “Sharknado” actress Cassie Scerbo is named godmother of their first kid. Carney’s death happened while Thornton mourned the loss of her best friend, Brittany.
