After a series of sweet tweets and interview inferences, sources say actresses Holland Taylor, 72, and Sarah Paulson, 40, are a couple.
The 72-year-old actress, who played Charlie Sheen and Jon Cryer’s bisexual onscreen mum on the hit U.S. sitcom, recently revealed she is in a long-term relationship with a woman in a recent interview, admitting there is a big age difference between her and her partner, who she did not name.
“There’s a very big age difference between us which I’m sure shocks a lot of people, and it startles me,” she told radio station WNYC.
Editors at Entertainment Tonight have now revealed Taylor has been dating 40-year-old Paulson, who was previously linked to actress Cherry Jones from 2004 to 2009, for “a few months”.
Sarah Paulson has always made it clear she doesn’t want to defined by her sexuality.
“All I can say is, I’ve done both (men and women), and I don’t let either experience define me,” Paulson told PrideSource.com last month. “I don’t let having been with a man make me think I am heterosexual, or make me want to call myself that, because I know I have been attracted to women – and have lived with women.
“For me, I’m not looking to define myself, and I’m sorry if that is something that is seen as a rejection of or an unwillingness to embrace (my sexuality) in a public way, but it’s simply not. It’s simply what’s true for me, and that’s all I can speak to.”
Neither Paulson nor Taylor have spoken about the new romance rumours linking them as a couple.
