Martin E Brooks, best known for his role in The Six Million Dollar Man, has died. He was 90.
Martin E Brooks first rose to fame in the early 1970s when he was cast as Dr. Rudy Wells on the hit ABC series, The Six Million Dollar Man. He reprised his role on the 1976 spin-off show, The Bionic Woman, and in three TV movies, The Return of the Six-Million-Dollar Man and the Bionic Woman (1987), Bionic Showdown: The Six Million Dollar Man and the Bionic Woman (1989) and Bionic Ever After? (1994).
The late actor was also an author of two novels, Danny Brown and Roman Candle, and a play, Flo and Joe, which was once optioned as a Broadway production, according to Variety.
Though he never married, Martin is survived by his “soulmate,” Edie, whom he was in a relationship with for the last 20 years of his life.
