Bill Cosby accuser Chloe Goins dismissed her lawsuit against the comedian on Tuesday.
The dropped lawsuit comes from Chloe Goins a model who accused Cosby of sexually assaulting her in 2008 at the Playboy Mansion. Cosby’s lawyers have since said he wasn’t in Los Angeles on the date of the alleged incident.
Goins was 18-year-old at the time of the alleged assault which she detailed to the Daily Mail saying she was drugged and went into a “fog” and felt “dizzy.” “I came to and remember seeing this big man crouched over me,” said Goins. “It was Bill Cosby and he was at my feet, kind of licking and kissing them and I think he bit my toe as that’s what woke me up…He jumped up, pulled his pants back up quickly and left.”
Goins’ alleged assault was the only case among the other alleged assaults that fell within a statute of limitations meaning still within the legal time frame where she could file a charge. According to the Washington Post no explanation was given as to Goins’ decision.
