Trump’s Private Jet diverted to Nashville due to ‘engine trouble’

Trump’s private jet had to make an emergency landing at Nashville airport on Wednesday, according to federal authorities.

The Boeing 757 landed in Nashville Wednesday at 4:40 p.m. after the pilot reported engine problem.

The FAA is investigating the incident.

Trump made it to the event in Little Rock two hours late. “My guys said that’s OK we can go back to New York with your trouble, come back another time,” said Trump. “I said there’s no way. I love Arkansas.”

The Republican candidate wasted no time attacking the Natural State’s most well known political family. “Hillary and Bill left Arkansas,” said Trump. “They left you folks. They left you whether you like it or not.”

Trump also railed against Common Core. He told the crowd Arkansas schools are controlled by Washington and promised a government that makes the best deals.

He finished by taking questions from the audience. One supporter asked about what he sees as attacks on religious freedom.

“Christianity is under siege,” answered Trump. “Little things, but they’re big things to me. You can’t say Merry Christmas anymore. If I win, we’re all going to be saying Merry Christmas. That I can tell you.”
