Alleged Microsoft Lumia 650 XL Photo Leaked

With the Mobile World Congress 2016 coming up, Microsoft fans are expecting see the highly rumored Lumia 650.

The device is rumored to make a debut during the world’s largest gathering for the mobile industry. It was previously rumored to arrive on Feb. 1 but it did not happen, so many are pointing to a Feb. 25 launching.

Going by the press photo leaked, the upcoming Lumia 650 will feature rounded corners and it looks identical to the Lumia 550. However, the difference comes in the form of the metallic frame running through the edges of the Lumia 650.

As far as the rumored Lumia 650 specifications go, this handset will apparently come with a pocket-friendly 5.0-inch display, aided by 720p screen resolution. Under the hood, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 210 or Snapdragon 212 chip, along with a quad-core processor clocked at 1.1 GHz, will power the device. A modest 1 GB of RAM has also been tipped, GSM Arena reported.

When it comes to camera configuration, it is believed to sport an 8-megapixel rear-facing sensor with LED flash, in addition to a 5-megapixel front-facing shooter for selfies. The Lumia 650 will come equipped with 8 GB of built-in storage space and microSD card slot for further expansion.

Furthermore, this device will support Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS, but sadly there’ll be no LTE support. A good-enough 2,000 mAh battery cell will keep the lights on.

On the software end, as expected, Windows 10 Mobile will run the show. Speaking of size, although the thickness is unknown at this point, this smartphone will apparently weigh 150g.
