Alexander Skarsgard proved he’s not the shy and retiring type at the MTV Movie Awards over the weekend, taking to the stage in a fetching tuxedo jacket with no pants.
Actor Samuel L. Jackson couldn’t hold his laugh when he saw the Swedish actor only wearing white underpants paired with a tuxedo jacket, a white shirt, knee-length black socks and a pair of black leather shoes. “You’re not wearing any pants!” Jackson exclaimed. The “True Blood” alum then said, “No pants. Me, Tarzan! Gotta give the fans a little skin,” to which “The Hateful Eight” actor replied, “It was a historic moment.”
Skarsgard also took time to hilariously call out Zac Efron at the star-studded event. “I was going to go shirtless, but then someone told me that Zac Efron did that two years ago here,” he joked. “It’s just as sexy, but a little bit classier, and dare I say, more sophisticated? No offense, Mr. Efron.”
Earlier that day, Skarsgard posed for photos with Jackson backstage in a more appropriate attire. The 39-year-old actor wore a black sarong with some pink lettering as he embraced his co-presenter.
