On Monday, March 24, The Black Keys will be releasing a new single, titled “Fever,” according to Revolt. The new song is set to be on the bands next record, though no information on that has been provided yet.
While the band hasn’t released a new song in a while–three years, to be exact–the guys have kept busy producing other people’s albums.
Carney worked on records from the Canadian rock band The Sheepdogs and indie pop husband and wife duo Tennis, while Auerbach, who earned the GRAMMY for Producer of the Year in 2013, recently worked on albums from Ray LaMontagne and Lana Del Rey. She even tweeted a photo of her sitting on his lap to prove it.
The Black Keys are currently only scheduled for on U.S. gig, this year’s Hangout Fest, which takes place on the beaches of Gulf Shores, AL on May 16-18. Other acts include The Killers, Jack Johnson, Queens of the Stone Age, Pretty Lights, The Avett Brothers and Modest Mouse.
