Ageless actress Cameron Diaz confronted her lesbian tendencies head-on this week by frankly admitting that she’s been attracted to women in the past.
The 41-year-old actress was speaking to UK’s Glamour magazine to promote her new film The Other Woman when she touched upon her views on sexuality.
“I think women are beautiful – absolutely beautiful’ she said.
‘I think that all women have been sexually attracted to another woman at some point. It’s natural to have a connectivity and an appreciation for the beauty of other women.’
The interview saw Diaz, who has been nominated for Golden Globes and a BAFTA for her roles in Gangs of New York and Being John Malkovich, star in a poolside photo shoot for the fashion magazine.
It is not the first time Diaz has spoken about sexuality as it seems she is not a fan of conforming to the usual labels regarding sexual preferences.
She caused a stir with her definition of lesbianism when speaking to Playboy magazine in July 2010.
‘Sexuality and love can be different things. I can be attracted to a woman sexually, but it doesn’t mean I want to be in love with a woman’ she said.
‘If I’m going to be with a woman sexually, it doesn’t mean I’m a lesbian. We put these restraints and definitions on people, but it’s hard to define.’
