Former Roseanne star Sara Gilbert and singer/songwriter Linda Perry have married in California.
The happy couple became engaged last year after two years of dating, and exchanged vows in a private ceremony on Sunday.
Last year Gilbert opened up about the engagement on The Talk, saying that it was an elaborate, musical proposal in an L.A. park in front of numerous family and friends. Perry had arranged for a guitarist, and other musicians to play their song (The Cure’s “Love Song”), while she wore a series of shirts that read, “Will You Marry Me?”
There are no details about the couple’s nuptials yet, but US reports that Gilbert’s The Talk cohosts will reveal details of the wedding on the show.
Perry is widely known for her hit single “What’s Up” with the 4 Non Blondes, as well as for her writing credits for Pink (“Get the Party Started”), Christina Aguilera (“Beautiful”), Alicia Keys (“Superwoman”) and Gwen Stefani’s “What You Waiting For?”
Gilbert was a child star, starring as Darlene Connor on Roseanne, before getting her gig on The Talk. She came out publicly in 2010.
