The former ‘Jersey Shore’ star and her fiancé Jionni LaValle – who already have 20-month-old son Lorenzo – will have a ”busy year” ahead of them as they are expecting their second child this autumn, which is around the same time they are set to tie the knot.
“Jionni and I are so excited to confirm that we are expecting our second child! Now knowing that our test results are good and our baby is healthy, we can finally talk about it!” Polizzi wrote on her blog.
Polizzi, 26, who hails from Marlboro, New York, and LaValle planned on having a second child before they marry. Their wedding is set for the fall of 2014. The pair are parents to Lorenzo, 1.
News of the pregnancy was leaked to the media, according to Polizzi..
“I want to thank everyone for their congratulations and we can feel how excited you are for us! Jionni and I wanted to clear the air by saying we only kept our second pregnancy to ourselves for the health of our child and until we reached a reasonable time to let the world know. No matter how annoying it is to have our 2nd baby announced without our consent and when the time is appropriate, We could not be happier!”
