After Ultimate Warrior died on Tues., April 8, 2014, in Arizona, just days after making multiple appearances for WWE at the Hall of Fame, WrestleMania 30, and Monday Night Raw, an autopsy was performed to determine the cause of death.
The medical examiner, who conducted the autopsy, reportedly concluded that no foul play was involved in the death of The Ultimate warrior, born James Brian Hellwig.
According to News.com.au, the medical examiner confirmed that no drugs or alcohol were there in the wrestling star’s system at the time when he died suddenly on April 9.
The Ultimate Warrior’s death has been reportedly classified as ‘Atherosclerotic/Arteriosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease’, otherwise known as heart disease, by the medical examiner.
Warrior, who began his WWE career in 1987, was reportedly clutching his chest outside an Arizona hotel at the time of his death.
